About the Author

This site was written by Dr Alan Stewart a medical practitioner who has specialised in nutrition related problems for over 25 years.

He qualified from Guy’s Hospital Medical School in 1976 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1979.  He established his own private medical practice in 1981 in Sussex where he has been ever since.  He became a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1983.

He has been the co-author or author of many books on nutrition and health including

Some of the above books have been published been published in the United States, Russia, Bulgaria and Turkish

He has worked as a consultant to many companies producing nutritional supplements including: Whitehall Laboratories, Lederle-Cyanamid, Boots, Lamberts Healthcare and Efamol.

He is a visiting lecturer to the University of Westminster on the subject of toxicity and safety of nutritional supplements and has also lectured at the British School of Osteopathy, the European School of Osteopathy and the British School of Naturopathy and Osteopathy.
